Mike Oldfield -Incantations- * With the hair cut, Mike Oldfield descents from limboland in 1978 with the Incantations album under his arms. A double vinyl for a work that requires a quiet ambient and concentration to obtain the maximum joy of it and where the composer releases all his talent in four intsrumental pieces not apt for quick listenings in radio channels. In the prehistory os synthesizers and samplers, Mike Oldfiled finds out the new possibilites of the recording studios. |

The Mission -God´s Own Medidine- In 1986 The Mission appears in the music market as a result of the split up of one of the most important bands from the gothic rock, The Sister Of Mercy. On this, their first album, The Mission starts from the postulates established on The Sister Of Mercy and with more elaborated and accesible melodies for the general public they construct baroque landscapes with a distinctive style.

Monaco -Music For Pleasure- Coming up from the ashes of New Order this album shows what could had been the future of this band after his latest album in the 90´s, Republic. A work full of imagination and an impressive production where they mix perfectly the melodic pop with quality dance rythms. Optimistic and catchy songs where the bass guitar tkes the main role.

Morrissey - Maladjusted- * This last studio work in the 90´s of Morrissey shows his identity remains unchanged through the years: youth rebelliousness in "satan rejected my soul", increasing depression in "trouble loves me" and tributes to the Smiths sound... The Poet remains faithful to his principles, although his new work is taking to long. |

Oasis -(What´s The Story) Morning Glory?- In 1995 the Gallagher brothers reach their highest moments of fame with their single Wonderwall included on this album, a clear example of their most characteristic sound. With renewed Beatles like melodies and their continual internal arguments they have been able to keep on the popularity tightrope, although their musical evolution has been deccelerated from this album. |

Orchestral Maneouvres In The Dark -Architecture & Morality- Dived in the Tecno-Pop era of the early 80´s, this british duet edit what was going to be their fundamental work. Catchy and simple, melodic songs constructed with primitive drum machines and keyboards and some short instrumental pieces entering the industrial sound compose this album; a formula which was going to be repeated in the following albums. Joan Of Arc is one of the highlights, a real hymn of the early 80´s. |

|
Pink Floyd -The Wall- In the late 70´s the main band from the progessive rock, leaded then by Roger Waters, releases one of the most important works of the history of rock. A great conceptual album full of imagination and geniuity. A complete story with a beginning and end. A must have album without any doubt.

Placebo -Without You I´m Nothing - Second album from this band which from 1996 has earned the respect of the public and critics. Influenced by Sonic Youth y Smashing Pumkins, Placebo have turned from late 90s into a very important alternative rock band. With powerful and evoking dark thick atmospheres, this album includes some of their best moments; the song giving the title to the album is an example of this. |

The Police - Synchronicity- * The full stop for their musical career is as the same time their best moments musically speaking. Involved in the crisis that would lead to their split up ( in the interviews with the press, Sting recited monologues meanwhile Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers got angry with the press for being constantly ignored ), in 1984 they edit Synchronicity, the most interesting and less ska-like work. The personal voice of Sting and the masterly drum of Copeland on their most splendorous moments. |
